One of my key points for depa...Have to say I agree. One of my key points for departmental development this year was to look into primary assessment options. However, after having looked into it I started reflecting more on exactly what the goal was for primary languages- is it to boost motivation, enjoyment and develop positive attitudes towards the subjects or is it to demonstrate to other people how good they are? Yes, there can be a motivational impact of receiving an external certificate, but do the pupils fully appreciate the significance of this? <BR/><BR/>Anyway, just musings. I decided against it, but alas I doubt it'll be too long before we start being moved into some form of primaryt standardised assessment. Alas.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
